Netflix have released the official trailer for the upcoming thriller The Ice Road.

After a remote diamond mine collapses in the far northern regions of Canada, an expert driver leads an impossible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save the lives of trapped miners. The mission escalates into chaos due to the thawing waters and a threat the rescuers never saw coming.

The film is written and directed by Jonathan Hensleigh and stars Liam Neeson, Laurence Fishburne, Holt McCallany, Benjamin Walker, Amber Midthunder, Marcus Thomas, Martin Sensmeier, Matt McCoy and Matt Salinger.

The Ice Road will become available on Netflix in the US on the 25th June 2021, while Signature Entertainment will be releasing it in the UK and Ireland later in the year.
