Netflix have released the official trailer for the upcoming 3DCG animation series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.
The official synopsis for the series is as follows:
The series takes place in 2006 after a hacking incident is uncovered at the White House. Leon Kennedy was ordered to investigate the incident, but he encounters zombies when the White House is targeted in a mysterious attack. He later meets Claire, who’s been checking a strange drawing made by a child refugee while working on a Terrasave-led mission to oversee construction of a welfare facility.
The series is produced and supervised by Capcom’s Hiroyuki Kobayashi, with TMS Entertainment producing and Quebico providing the 3DCG animation production.
The series has a Japanese/English voice cast that includes Toshiyuki Morikawa, Nick Apostolides, Yūko Kaida, Stephanie Panisello, Ray Chase, Jona Xiao, Billy Kametz, Brad Venable, Joe J. Thomas and Doug Stone.
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will become available on the streaming service on the 8th July 2021.
