Deadline is exclusively reporting that Jessica Rothe, Kelsey Asbille, Marc Rissmann and Will Dalton have signed up to star in New Regency television series Gaslight, which is an adaptation of the QCode podcast of the same name.
In Gaslight, everyone though Danny had gone missing. Towards the end of senior year she vanished one night leaving everyone confused and devastated…including her closest friend in the world Becca. The series will pick up years later when late one night while Becca, her new husband and their baby son are having dinner, they get a visitor. It’s Danny. Inexplicably after all these years of no contact or explanation she’s returned and looking to reconnect. As we learn more about her and her boyfriend Ben, we son come to realise there’s something darker and more sinister at play.
All episodes of the first season will be written and directed by Miles Joris-Peyrafitte, who also serves as series creator and executive producer. Joris-Peyrafitte will executive produce alongside Chloe and Trevor Moretz, Emma Koskoff, New Regency, QCode, Automatik, Oddfellows and Philip Wurtzel. Jessica Rothe and Kelsey Asbille serve as co-executive producers.
Gaslight is scheduled to commence next month in Kamloops, British Columbia.
