Peacemaker, who will appear on the big screen/HBO Max in The Suicide Squad on 6th August 2021, is a man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it.

Freddie Stroma (whose credits include Bridgerton and The Crew) will now be playing the role ov Vigilante, otherwise known as Adrian Chase, a hand-to-hand combatant, a brilliant marksman and a master of the lariat. He was a New York City DA who sought justice in his own way as his alter ego after his wife and kids were killed by mobsters. Vigilante also has the ability to heal quickly and regenerate his body from injuries as serious as stabbings or gunshot wounds.

James Gunn is writing the eight-episode series and directing most of it. James Gunn will also serve as executive producer alongside The Suicide Squad producer Peter Safran, and John Cena will serve as co-executive producer. Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company in association with Warner Bros. Television will produce.
