Netflix have released the official trailer for the upcoming film trilogy based on R.L Stine’s bestselling horror series Fear Street.
The official synopsis for Fear Street is as follows:
A group of teenagers discover that the terrifying events that have haunted their town for generations may all be connected — and that they may be the next targets. Based on R.L. Stine’s best selling horror series, the trilogy follows the nightmare through Shadyside’s sinister history.
The trilogy is written by Phil Graziadei and Leigh Janiak, with the latter also directing, and have a cast that includes Kiana Madeira, Olivia Welch, Benjamin Flores Jr., Julia Rehwald, Fred Hechinger, Ashley Zukerman, Maya Hawke, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Jordana Spiro, Jordyn DiNatale, Jeremy Ford, Sadie Sink, Emily Rudd, Ryan Simpkins, McCabe Slye, Ted Sutherland, Gillian Jacobs, Chiara Aurelia, Drew Scheid and Mark Ashworth.
Fear Street Part One: 1994 is set for release on the streaming service on the 2nd July 2021, Fear Street Part Two: 1978 on the 9th July 2021, and Fear Street Part Three: 1666 on the 16th July 2021.
