Greenwich Entertainment have released the official trailer for drama film Sublet.
The official synopsis for the film is as follows:
A New York Times travel writer takes on a rental apartment for a week’s assignment to discover the real Tel Aviv. The apartment’s owner Tomer, has mixed up the dates and is reduced to sleeping on his own sofa as he accepts Michael’s offer to guide him around the city.
I caught the film virtually via the BFI Flare film festival and, for me, it was one of my favourite films from the festival (review here) and glad it’s getting some kind of cinematic run, even though its just for the U.S at the minute. The film is directed by Eytan Fox, who co-wrote the screenplay alongside Italy Segal, and stars John Benjamin Hickey, Niv Nissim, Lihi Kornowski, Miki Kam, Peter Spears, Tamir Ginsburg and Gabriel Omri Loukas.
Sublet is currently scheduled for limited cinematic release in the U.S on the 11th June 2021, then will become available On Demand on the 9th July 2021. There is no current UK release date, cinematic or digital, as of yet.
