Paramount Pictures have released the latest trailer for the upcoming G.I. Joe spinoff film Snakes Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins.

The official synopsis for the film is as follows:

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins focuses on Snake Eyes, a tenacious loner who is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent. Upon arrival in Japan, the Arashikage teach Snake Eyes the ways of the ninja warrior while also providing something he’s been longing for: a home. But, when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes’ honour and allegiance will be tested – even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him.

The film is written by Evan Spiliotopoulos, Anna Waterhouse and Joe Sharpnel, directed by Robert Schwentke, and stars Henry Golding, Andrew Koji, Úrsula Corberó, Samara Weaving, Haruka Abe, Takehiro Hira, Iko Uwais and Peter Mensah.

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins is scheduled for cinematic release in the U.S on the 23rd July 2021, and its UK cinematic release is scheduled for the 20th August 2021.
