Apple have released the official trailer for the upcoming second season of sports comedy series Ted Lasso.

The series is based on the character Jason Sudeikis portrayed in NBC Sports videos that were promoting Premier League coverage on the network. We follow Ted Lasso, a small-time college football coach from Kansas, who is hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, AFC Richmond, despite having no experience coaching soccer.

In the upcoming second season, Ted is, for the most part, unruffled by the team’s recent relegation to a lower division, but when AFC Richmond’s future starts to look particularly uncertain, Ted introduces his players to his alter ego. The series has been a big hit for Apple TV+, earning itself an early third season renewal.

The series stars Jason Sudeikis, Stephen Manas, Colin Blyth, Brendan Hunt, Hannah Waddingham, Bronson Webb, Lampros Kalfuntzos, Phil Dunster, Brett Goldstein, Bradley Wj Miller, Jade Mitchell, Juno Temple, Jeremy Swift, Nick Mohammed, Cristo Fernandez and Sarah Niles.
