The official synopsis for the upcoming limited series is as follows:

Adapted from Ingmar Bergman’s 1973 Swedish classic, Scenes From A Marriage re-examines the show’s iconic depiction of love, hatred, desire, monogamy, marriage, and divorce through the lens of a contemporary American couple.

The English-language remake of Ingmar Bergman’s 1973 miniseries is written and directed by Hagai Levi and stars Oscar Isaac, Jessica Chastain, Sunita Mani, Nicole Beharie, Corey Stoll and Tovah Feldshuh.
