Paramount have released the first look trailer for the Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon’s upcoming crime thriller series Mayor of Kingstown.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

Mayor of Kingstown follows the McLusky family – power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.

The series is executive produced by Sheridan, Dillon, Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari and Michael Friedman, and stars Jeremy Renner, Dianne West, Kyle Chandler, Emma Laird, Derek Webster, Taylor Handley, Pha’rez Lass, Tobi Bamtefa, Aidan Gillen and Hamish Allan-Headley.

Mayor of Kingstown will premiere on Paramount+ in the US on the 14th November 2021.
