Deadline is exclusively reporting that Dave Annable has signed up for a recurring role for the upcoming second season of CW drama series Walker.
.
The series focuses on Cordell Walker, a widower and father of two with his own moral code, who returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years, only to discover there’s harder work to be done at home. He’ll attempt to reconnect with his children, navigate clashes with his family, and find unexpected common ground with his new partner – one of the first women in Texas Rangers’ history – while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife’s death.
.
Dave Annable (whose recent credits include What/If and Yellowstone) will be playing the role of Dan Miller, Denise’s husband, brimming with bravado. Dan is fiercely loyal to the Davidson family and very protective of his wife. He has taken on the Davidson’s distrust of the Walker’s and is clearly not going to settle into Austin without a fight.
.
The series is written and executive produced by Anna Fricke, and executive produced by Jared Padalecki, Dan Lin and Lindsay Liberatore.
.
The first season starred Jared Padalecki, Lindsey Morgan, Keegan Allen, Mitch Pileggi, Coby Bell, Jeff Pierre, Violet Brinson, Kale Culley, Molly Hagan, Genevieve Padalecki, Odette Annable, Chris Labadie, Alex Landi, Gabriela Flores, Rebekah Graf and Alex Meneses.
