Warner Bros. have released the latest trailer for the upcoming Sopranos prequel film The Many Saints of Newark.

The official synopsis for the film is as follows:

Young Anthony Soprano is growing up in one of the most tumultuous eras in Newark’s history, becoming a man just as rival gangsters begin to rise up and challenge the all-powerful DiMeo crime family’s hold over the increasingly race-torn city. Caught up in the changing times is the uncle he idolises, Dickie Moltisanti, who struggles to manage both his professional and personal responsibilities—and whose influence over his nephew will help make the impressionable teenager into the all-powerful mob boss we’ll later come to know: Tony Soprano.

The film is directed by Alan Taylor, written by David Chase and Lawrence Konner, and stars Alessandro Nivola, Jon Bernthal, Vera Farmiga, Corey Stoll, Billy Magnussen, Michael Gandolfini, Ray Liotta, John Magaro, Leslie Odom Jr and Michela De Rossi.

The Many Saints Of Newark is scheduled for cinematic release, as well as same day HBO Max release in the U.S, on the 1st October 2021, while in the UK its cinematic release on the 22nd September 2021.
