Amazon Studios have released the teaser trailer for the upcoming series adaptation of I Know What You Did Last Summer.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

I Know What You Did Last Summer is a modern take on the hit 1997 horror film that honours the same chilling premise – in a town full of secrets, a group of teenagers are stalked by a mysterious killer a year after a fatal accident on their graduation night.

The series is written by Sara Goodman, who is also serves as executive producer alongside Shay Hatten, Original Film’s Neal Mortiz and Pavun Shetty, Erik Feig and Atomic Monster’s James Wan, Rob Hackett and Michael Clear. Craig Macneill serves as director and executive producer for the pilot episode.

The series stars Madison Iseman, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore, Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck, Brooke Bloom, Bill Heck, Sonya Balmores, Spencer Sutherland and Chrissie Fit.
