20th Century Studios have released the official trailer for the Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story.

An adaptation of the 1957 musical, West Side Story explores forbidden love and the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks, two teenage street gangs of different ethnic backgrounds.

The screenplay is adapted by Tony Kushner, with the film starring Rachel Zegler, Ansel Elgort, Ariana DeBose, David Alvarez, Mike Faist, Corey Stoll, Brian d’Arcy James, Rita Moreno, Curtiss Cook, Kevin Csolak, Ezra Menas, Ben Cook, Sean Harrison, Patrick Higgins, Paloma Garcia-Lee, Maddie Ziegler, Josh Andrés Rivera, Ana Isabelle, Julius Anthony Rubio, Ricardo Zayas, Sebastian Serra and Carlos Sánchez Falú.

Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story is scheduled for cinematic release on the 10th December 2021.
