Bull: Saban Films Acquire North American Rights For Revenge Thriller

The film focuses on former gang enforcer Bull, who after a ten-year absence returns to his old haunts to find his missing son and seek revenge on whose who double-crossed him and left him for dead. Painful secrets from the past will soon be revealed and like a man possessed, Bull will stop at nothing to get back at those who must atone for their sins.

Saban Films’ Bill Bromiley released a statement saying:

We’re excited to be able to bring this fearlessly bold thriller to audiences. The critical reception to the film thus far has been outstanding, and we know North American audiences are going to respond just as positively to Paul’s highly skilled direction and compelling narrative, not to mention the two tremendous central performances.

The film has gained a positive response following its world premiere at Fantasia and its European premiere at BFI London Film Festival, currently sitting at 100% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, and after catching it at BFI London Film Festival, it’s definitely an interesting thriller from writer/director Paul Andrew Williams. The deal was made between Saban Films and Signature Entertainment, with the deal negotiated between Steve Break for Saban Films and Andrew Nerger for Signature Entertainment.

The film stars Neil Maskell, David Hayman, Tamzin Outhwaite, Elizabeth Counsell, Kellie Shirley, Jay Simpson, Chris Coghill, Jake Davies, Kevin Harvey and Lois Brabin-Platt.

Bull is scheduled for UK cinematic release on the 5th November 2021, with Saban Films aiming for the films US release in the second quarter of 2022.
