Amazon have released the official trailer for the upcoming sci-fi thriller Encounter.

The official synopsis for the film is as follows:

A decorated Marine goes on a rescue mission to save his two young sons from an unhuman threat. As their journey takes them in increasingly dangerous directions, the boys will need to leave their childhoods behind.

The film is written by Joe Barton and Michael Pearce, with Pearce also directing, and stars Riz Ahmed, Octavia Spencer, Rory Cochrane, Janina Gavankar, Lucian-River Chauhan and Aditya Geddada.

Encounter is scheduled for cinematic release on the 3rd December 2021 and will then become available on Amazon Prime on the 10th December 2021.
