Searchlight Pictures have released the official trailer for the upcoming psychological thriller Nightmare Alley.

The official synopsis for the film is as follows: 

Stan Carlisle, an ambitious carny with a talent for manipulating people with a few well-chosen words, hooks up with Dr. Lilith Ritter, a psychiatrist who is even more dangerous than he is.

The film is based on William Lindsay Gresham’s 1946 novel of the same name, directed by Guillermo del Toro and stars Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette, Willem Dafoe, Richard Jenkins, Rooney Mara, Ron Perlman, David Strathairn, Holt McCallany, Clifton Collins Jr., Tim Blake Nelson, Mary Steenburgen, Jim Beaver, Mark Povinelli, Romina Power, Paul Anderson and David Hewlett.

Nightmare Alley is scheduled for US cinematic release on the 17th December 2021 and UK cinematic release on the 21st January 2022.
