Sony Pictures have released the first look for the hotly anticipated Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse sequel Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse (Part One).

The official synopsis for the upcoming animated sequel is as follows:

Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.

The sequel is being directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson, with the screenplay written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and David Callaham, with Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Lord & Miller, and Christina Steinberg serving as producers. The only confirmed voice cast for the film so far is Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld and Oscar Isaac.

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse (Part One) is scheduled for cinematic release on the 7th October 2022.
