Showtime have released the official trailer for the series adaptation of Walter Tevis’s 1963 novel The Man Who Fell To Earth.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

The Man Who Fell To Earth follows a new alien character who arrives on Earth at a turning point in human evolution and must confront his own past to determine our future.

The series is developed by Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Naomie Harris, Jimmi Simpson, Clarke Peters, Sonya Cassidy, Rob Delaney, Joanna Ribeiro, Annelle Olayele, Kate Mulgrew, Josh Herdman and Bill Nighy.
