Media outlets are reporting that Sky have acquired the UK rights for the DC drama series Peacemaker, where it will premiere on the Sky Max channel and NOW TV streamer from the 22nd March 2022.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

Set after the events of The Suicide Squad, the series explores the origins of Peacemaker, a compellingly vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost no matter how many people he has to kill to get it, and his subsequent missions.

The series finished airing its first season a few weeks ago on HBO Max, and it has also recently been renewed for a second season.

The first season stars John Cena, Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, Chukwudi Iwuji, Lochlyn Munro, Annie Chang, Christopher Heyerdahl, Elizabeth Faith Ludlow, Rizwan Manji, Nhut Le, Alison Araya, Lenny Jacobson and Freddie Stroma.
