Deadline is reporting that Richard Armitage, Charlie Murphy, Indira Varma, Rish Shah and Pippa Bennett-Warner will be starring in the three-part UK erotic thriller series Damage at Netflix.

The three-parter focuses on a dangerous love triangle that emerges when the enigmatic Anna Barton embarks on a passionate affair with her fiancé’s father William. Whilst Anna fights to sustain both relationships, William is drawn into an obsessive spiral.

The series is based on a novella by Josephine Hart. Charlie Murphy (whose credits include Love/Hate and Halo) will be playing the role of Anna Barton, while Richard Armitage (whose credits include Hannibal and Stay Close) will be playing the role of William.

The novella is being adapted by Morgan Lloyd-Malcolm and Benji Walter, with Glenn Leyburn and Lisa Barros D’Sa directing. The series is being produced by Gina Carter, with Matthew Read and Frith Tiplady (Moonage Pictures), and Alison Jackson (Gaumont) serving as executive producers.
