Hulu have officially titled the coming-of-age film starring Rowan Blanchard and Auli’i Cravalho, Crush, and as well as revealing first look photos, they also announced that the film will premiere on the 29th April 2022.

The film focuses on an aspiring artist, Paige, who is thrust out of her comfort zone when forced to join the High School track team, using it as an opportunity to pursue the girl, AJ, she’s been harbouring a long-time crush on. Later though, she finds herself falling for an unexpected teammate, only then discovering what real love feels like.
The film is written by Kristen King and Casey Rackham, and Sammi Cohen directed. Jeremy Garelick, Will Phelps and Ryan Bennett will serve as producers under the American High banner, with Natasha Lyonne, Maya Rudolph and Danielle Renfrew Behrens under the Animal Pictures banner, Andrew Miano and Britta Rowings for Depth of Field, Katie Newman for 3 Arts Entertainment, and Mickey Liddell and Pete Shilaimon for LD Entertainment. Chris Weitz, Paul Weitz and Dan Balgoyen will executive produce under the Depth of Field banner, with Michael Glassman and Max Butler of LD Entertainment also executive producing.
