Netflix have released the official trailer for the upcoming series adaptation of The Lincoln Lawyer.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

​Mickey Haller, an iconoclastic idealist, runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln, as he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles.

Some may be familiar that there was a 2011 film of the same name with Matthew McConaughey in as the main character Mickey Haller, but while that was based on Michael Connelly’s novel of the same name, the first season of this series is based on Michael Connelly’s novel The Brass Verdict.

The series is created by David E. Kelley and developed by Ted Humphrey who serves as showrunner, executive producer and writer, and stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, Christopher Gorham, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, LisaGay Hamilton, Jamie McShane, Reggie Lee and Krista Warner.

The Lincoln Lawyer will become available on Netflix on the 13th May 2022.
