Deadline is exclusively reporting that Garrett Hedlund, Noah Schnapp, Victoria Justice, Jonny Weston and Ekaterina Baker are set to star in the mystery thriller The Tutor.

The film follows a professional tutor who, after being given an unexpected assignment at a remote manor, finds himself battling his disturbed student’s obsessions that threaten to expose his darkest secrets and unravel a carefully crafted persona.

Garrett Hedlund will be playing the tutor, while Noah Schnapp will be playing his student. The report doesn’t state who Justice, Weston and Baker will be playing in the film.

The film is written by Ryan King and is being directed by Jordan Ross, with production currently underway in Birmingham, Alabama. The film is being produced by Joey Stanton, Robert Ogden Barnum, Eric Binns and Christopher Kopp, with Ryan King executive producing alongside Greg Thompson, Luke Daniels, Allan Pao, Kyle Stroud, Nadine De Barros, Ali Jazayeri, Rick Sasner and David Gendron.
