The Hollywood Reporter is exclusively reporting that Griffin Dunne, Dascha Polanco, Ashley Madekwe, Ryan Eggold, Dash Mihok, Geoff Stults, Eddie Kaye Thomas and Hannah Dunne are the latest names to join the cast of opioid drama Junction.

Junction will address the opioid crisis in America from three different points of view: the CEO of a pharmaceutical company, a doctor and a patient. Each character comes face to face with their decisions and their role in the epidemic.

Bryan Greenberg, who has written the script, will star and also make his directorial debut, released a statement saying:

I’m thrilled to work with this amazing ensemble. The cast of Junction is truly an embarrassment of riches.

The film is being produced by Public School Productions and Verdi Productions, with Chad A. Verdi producing alongside Aaron Kaufman, Anthony Gudas, Michelle Verdi, Chad Verdi Jr., Paul Luba, Scott Annan and Thomas Sandgaard. Production is scheduled to commence sometime this spring in Rhode Island.
