Bleecker Street have released the official trailer for the film adaptation of Suzanne Allain’s novel Mr. Malcolm’s List.

The romantic comedy will focus Julia, a society lady jilted by London’s most eligible bachelor Mr. Malcolm, when she fails to meet one of the items on his list of requirements for a bride. Feeling shunned and humiliated, she enlists her friend Selina to help her take revenge on Mr. Malcolm by tricking him into thinking he has found his perfect match.

The film is being directed by Emma Holly Jones, who also helmed the short film adaptation of Suzanne Allain’s novel, and stars Freida Pinto, Ṣọpẹ Dìrísù, Zawe Ashton, Oliver-Jackson Cohen, Ashley Park and Theo James.

Mr. Malcolm’s List is scheduled for cinematic release on the 1st July 2022.
