Amazon have released the teaser trailer for the upcoming series adaptation of A League Of Their Own.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

A League Of Their Own evokes the joyful spirit of Penny Marshall’s beloved classic, while widening the lens to tell the story of an entire generation of women who dreamed of playing professional baseball. The show takes a deeper look at race and sexuality, following the journey of a whole new ensemble of characters as they carve their own paths towards the field, both in the League and outside of it.

The series, based on the 1992 film of the same name, is created by Will Graham and Abbi Jacobson and stars Abbi Jacobson, Chanté Adams, D’Arcy Carden, Roberta Colindrez, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Kelly McCormack, Priscilla Delgado, Nick Offerman, Melanie Field, Molly Ephraim, Kate Berlant, Lil Frex, Nat Faxon, Kevin Dunn, Marquise Vilsón, Marinda Anderson, Don Fanelli, Nancy Lenehan and Saidah Ekulona.
