Deadline is exclusively reporting that Andy McQueen, Fiona Palomo and Lou Ferrigno Jr have signed up to star in the upcoming third season of Netflix drama series Outer Banks.
.
The official synopsis for the previous (second) season is as follows:
After their near-death escape in the first season, John B and Sarah are now on the run – and in over their heads – in the Bahamas. New friends also bring new foes as they’re back on the trail of the gold, while the stakes for Kiara, Pope and JJ rapidly escalate at home. The $400m is still in the game, but will the uncovering of a secret reunite the group for a fresh mission?
.
Andy McQueen (whose credits include Mrs. Davis and Station Eleven) will be playing the role of Carlos Singh, a Caribbean Don who is intelligent, refined, and ruthless, and is out on a treasure hunt of his own.
.
Fiona Palomo (whose credits include Control Z and La Negociadora) will be playing the role of Sofia, who identifies as a Pogue but secretly yearns to be a part of the country club crowd. Likable and scrappy, she starts to form a close connection with Rafe.
.
Lou Ferrigno Jr (whose credits include S.W.A.T. and Stargirl) will be playing the role of Ryan. Calm and collected but young and hungry, he is Singh’s top security officer and enforcer. He’s done enough jobs to keep a cool head but also knows what could happen if he fails.
.
The series is created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke. The new additions will join a cast that includes Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, Drew Starkey, Charles Esten and Carlacia Grant.
