Deadline is exclusively reporting that Barry Keoghan and Brian Gleeson have signed up to star in the final season of the crime drama series Top Boy at Netflix.

Picking up after the events of first season revival, Dushane is currently on a roll. He won the war against young pretender Jamie, leaving his Summerhouse crew unrivalled and making more money than ever. Life with Shelley is going well too and allows him to dream of a future away from the road. But then a problem from an unexpected quarter arises and threatens to bring it all crashing down.

While the report states that their character descriptions and the exact nature of their roles are being kept under wraps, they’ve learned that Barry Keoghan (whose recent credits include Eternals and The Batman) and Brian Gleeson (Peaky Blinders and Frank of Ireland) will be playing the roles of Jonny and Tadgh.

The final season is currently shooting in London, with Myriam Raja directing the first four episodes, while Will Stefan Smith will be returning to direct the final two episodes. the episodes have been written by Ronan Bennett.
