The Hollywood Reporter is exclusively reporting that Julius Onah has signed on to direct the fourth installment in the Captain America franchise for Marvel Studios.
.
It’s currently unknown as to what the fourth film in the Captain America franchise will be about, but it will definitely follow-up on the events of the Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. In the series, set after Avengers: Endgame, focused on Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes teaming up in a global adventure that tests their abilities, and their patience, with Sam deliberating whether or not to take up Captain America’s shield.
.
Malcolm Spellman, who created and was head writer of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, is penning the script for Captain America 4 with Dalan Musson. Julius Onah’s directing credits include The Cloverfield Paradox and Luce.
.
While Anthony Mackie will be returning, it’s unclear if Sebastian Stan will return as Bucky Barnes, but maybe will find more details about the project at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con later in the month.
