Netflix have released the teaser trailer for the upcoming animated film Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio.

The official synopsis for the film is as follows:

Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro reinvents Carlo Collodi’s classic tale of the wooden marionette who is magically brought to life in order to mend the heart of a grieving woodcarver named Geppetto. This whimsical, stop-motion musical directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson follows the mischievous and disobedient adventures of Pinocchio in his pursuit of a place in the world.

The film has a voice cast that includes Ewan McGregor, Gregory Mann, David Bradley, Christoph Waltz, Tilda Swinton, Finn Wolfhard, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, Burn Gorman, Cate Blanchett and John Turturro.

Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio will have a cinematic release in November 2022, then will become available on Netflix in December 2022.
