Netflix have released the official trailer for the upcoming drama I Used To Be Famous.
The official synopsis for the film is as follows:
Vince used to be in the hottest boy band around. Now the troubled former popstar is alone and desperate. He dreams of making a comeback and starts performing in the streets of Peckham, in the hope that someone, anyone, will listen. An impromptu jam with Stevie, an autistic young drummer with an incredible gift for rhythm, sparks an unexpected friendship between the two misunderstood musicians. Together they form a unique bond through the power of music.
The film is directed by Eddie Sternberg, who co-wrote the screenplay alongside Zak Klein. Collie McCarthy serves as a producer on the film, while Damian Jones and Paul Grindey serve as executive producers.
The film stars Ed Skrein, Leo Long, Eleanor Matsuura, Lorraine Ashbourne, Eoin Macken and Stanley Morgan.
I Used To Be Famous will become available on Netflix on the 16th September 2022.
