The YA novel follows the story of Lila Reyes, who after the loss of her grandmother, leaves her life at Abuela’s Cuban bakery in Miami to spend the summer cooking at her Aunt’s inn in Winchester, London.

The film is being directed by Katherine Fairfax Wright, with the screenplay being adapted by Khaila Amazan and Savion Einstein. Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment will be serving as producer, with ACE financing the film with Max Siemers, Matt Janzen and Aubrey Bendix overseeing production for the company. Mark Lane of TeaShop Films will serve as executive producer.
