Deadline is exclusively reporting that Shane Paul McGhie is the latest name to join the cast for adventure horror thriller Creepers.
.
Creepers focuses on a group of young urban explorers who plan to investigate an old, boarded-up, seemingly abandoned hotel, only to encounter danger at every turn in the form of a competing group of hostile urban explorers seeking to find a legendary hidden treasure – as well as a supernatural being who wreaks havoc on all.
.
The report states that Shane Paul McGhie (whose credits include the After franchise and Unbelievable) will be playing the role of Vernon, the fourth Creeper in the group, a wise-cracking tech-nerd who is not doing a good job of hiding his true feelings for Cora, a young woman in the group. McGhie will be replacing Skylan Brooks, who was initially cast in the role, but the report doesn’t state the reasoning for his departure.
.
Creepers is currently shooting in Bulgaria, which is being directed by Marc Klasfeld, and McGhie joins a cast that includes Jake Manley, Adeline Rudolph, Francesca Reale, Laurence O’Fuarain, Nicholas Hamilton, Javier Botet and Kai Caster.
