The Hollywood Reporter is exclusively reporting that Barbie Ferreira will be starring opposite Ariana DeBose in the psychological thriller House of Spoils from Prime Video and Blumhouse.

The film focuses on an ambitious chef who opens her first restaurant, and contends with the powerful spirit of the estate’s previous owner who threatens to sabotage her at every turn.

Barbie Ferreira (whose credits include Euphoria and Unpregnant) will be playing a character that is described as a hopeful but sharp-tongued sous chef.

The film is written and will be directed by Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy. Production on House of Spoils is scheduled to commence this Autumn.
