Media outlets are reporting that Carrie-Anne Moss, Rebecca Henderson, Dafne Keen and Dean-Charles Chapman are the latest names to join the cast for the upcoming Star Wars/Disney+ series The Acolyte.

The Acolyte is described as a mystery-thriller, which will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era. In the Star Wars universe, an acolyte can refer to individuals with force abilities who learn from a more experienced Sith Lord.

The reports don’t state what roles the new additions will be playing. The series is currently shooting in the UK. The series, which was announced back in December 2020, hails from Leslye Headland, who serves as writer, executive producer and showrunner.

The new additions will join a cast that includes Amandla Stenberg, Jodie Turner-Smith, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto and Charlie Barnett.
