Deadline is exclusively reporting that Taron Egerton and the creator and executive producers behind the critically acclaimed drama series Black Bird are re-teaming for another crime series at Apple TV+ called Firebug, which is inspired by events surrounding notorious California arsonist John Leonard Orr.

Richard Pleper, Kary Antholis, Bradley Thomas, and Dan Friedkin, who also worked on Black Bird, will also be serving as executive producers on the series, as will Egerton and Mark Smerling.
