Paramount+ have released the official trailer for the upcoming second season of drama series Mayor of Kingstown.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

Mayor of Kingstown follows the McLusky family – power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.

The series is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, Hugh Dillon, Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari and Michael Friedman.

The second season of Mayor of Kingstown stars Jeremy Renner, Dianne Wiest, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird, Hugh Dillon, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Nishi Munshi, Hamish Allan-Headley, Gratiela Brancusi, Lane Garrison and Aidan Gillen.

Mayor of Kingstown will premiere its second season on Paramount+ US on the 15th January 2023, and on the 16th January for UK and Ireland subscribers.
