Day Of The Fight: Jack Huston To Make Directorial Feature Debut, Michael Pitt, Joe Pesci, Nicolette Robinson, Ron Perlman And John Magaro To Star

Deadline is exclusively reporting that Jack Huston will be making his directorial feature debut with Day of the Fight, which will see him collaborate once again with his Boardwalk Empire colleague Michael Pitt, who will star alongside Joe Pesci, Nicolette Robinson, Ron Perlman and John Magaro.

The film, which is also being written and produced by Huston, follows a once celebrated boxer who takes a redemptive journey through his past and present, on the day of his first fight since leaving prison.

Jack Huston had this to say to Deadline about the project:

I am both humbled and honoured to be directing my first film with such an incredible cast and crew. It truly is a privilege to be able to bring my passion project to life, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with the world.

Production on Day of the Fight is currently underway in New York and New Jersey. Serving as producers on the project are Josh Porter, Jai Stefan, Emma Tillinger Koskoff and Colleen Camp. Todd Diener and William Santor serve as executive producers.
