Netflix have announced that the hit series Cobra Kai has been renewed for a sixth and final season.
.
The synopsis for the fifth season is as follows:
Following the shocking results of the All Valley Tournament, Season 5 finds Terry Silver expanding the Cobra Kai empire and trying to make his “No Mercy” style of karate the only game in town. With Kreese behind bars and Johnny Lawrence setting karate aside to focus on repairing the damage he’s caused, Daniel LaRusso must call on an old friend for help.
.
The renewal promises that the final season will be the ‘biggest and baddest’ season of them all, with series creators Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, released a joint statement, which you can read below…
All good things must come to an end, and honestly I didn’t expect to enjoy Cobra Kai as much as I did back when it started out on YouTube Red, and look at the beast it has become since then! At least the creative, cast and crew will be going out on their terms, and I for one can’t wait to see what they have in store for us to wrap-up all the series.
.
The fifth season starred William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Martin Kove, Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, Peyton List, Vanessa Rubio, Oona O’Brien, Dallas Dupree Young, Yuji Okumoto, Alicia Hannah-Kim, Thomas Ian Griffith and Sean Kanan.
