Prime Video have released the teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of animated series Invincible, as well as revealing when it will premiere.
.
The official synopsis for the series is as follows:
Invincible is an Amazon Original series based on the groundbreaking comic book from Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead. The story revolves around 17-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age — except his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man.
.
While it doesn’t reveal much of what to expect in the upcoming season, it does poke fun about the long wait from when the season one finale aired back in April 2021 before revealing that the second season will premiere in late 2023 (more or less).
.
The first season of Invincible had a voice cast that included Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Zachary Quinto, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Malese Jow, Grey Griffin, Khary Payton, Andrew Rannells, Zazie Beetz, Ross Marquand, Walton Goggins, Chris Diamantopoulos, Mahershala Ali, Kevin Michael Richardson, Michael Dorn, Ezra Miller, Jeffrey Donovan, Fred Tatasciore, Lennie James, Lauren Cohan, Sonequa Martin-Green, Chad L. Coleman, Michael Cudlitz and Mark Hamill.
