Deadline is exclusively reporting that Katie Cassidy, Devon Sawa, Chris Backus, Kate Bosworth and Tyrese Gibson will be starring in the survival thriller Fallout, which recently concluded filming in New Jersey.
The film focuses on the fallout when a nuclear threat forces six people into a malfunctioning underground bunker. Tensions soon rise as they fight to stay alive. With oxygen and the trust in each other quickly running out, they learn a more sinister plan is afoot.
The film is written by Michael Miceli and Cecil Chambers, with Chambers also helming the film.
Michael Benaroya, CEO of Benaroya Pictures and Founder of International Film Trust, released a statement saying:
Fallout’s tense, urgent script is what first attracted us to this project, and the cast that has joined the film really speaks to this. We’re excited to work with this strong ensemble that will resonate with distributors worldwide.
Cecil Chambers is also financing and producing the film under his Triumphant Entertainment banner alongside Michael Miceli, Tyler Jon Olson and Michael Benaroya. Serving as executive producers are Saleem Elmasri, John Marques, Waynard Schimdt and Andrea Bucko. International Film Trust will be launching worldwide sales of the project at the upcoming European Film Market.
