Amazon have released the teaser trailer for the upcoming dark comedy series I’m A Virgo.

The series is described as a radical coming-of-age joyride about a thirteen-foot-tall young black man named Cootie who lives in Oakland, California, who mostly spends his time binging TV shows and comic series. When he encounters his real life superhero, dubbed The Hero, Cootie finds himself on course for a mythical quest.

I’m A Virgo is created, written, and executive produced by Boots Riley, which is a co-production between Media Res and Amazon Studios. Also executive producing are Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer (Media Res), Tze Chun (who also serves as co-showrunner), and Jharrel Jerome. The series is believed to be set to premiere on Prime Video this summer.
