The Hollywood Reporter is exclusively reporting that Michael Cuesta, known for directing pilots for television series such as Dexter and Homeland, has been attached to direct the pilot episode of the upcoming Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again, whilst Michael Gaston has joined the cast and Sandrine Holt’s role has reportedly been confirmed.

Not much is known about the upcoming series in terms of plot, just that its being written and executive produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord, it will consist of eighteen episodes for the season, and will premiere in 2024. The series is currently scheduled to commence shooting this month in New York.

The report states that Sandrine Holt (whose credits include The Expanse and American Gigolo) will be playing the role of Wilson Fisk’s wife Vanessa, who was originally portrayed by Ayelet Zurer in the Daredevil Netflix series. The report doesn’t state what role Michael Gaston (whose credits include The Leftovers and Strange Angel) will be playing.
