Highland Film Group have released the official trailer for the upcoming survival thriller The Black Demon.

The official synopsis for the film is as follows:

Oilman Paul Sturges takes his family on vacation to Bahia Azul, but the coastal town he and his wife once knew has mysteriously disappeared. A massive Megalodon, known to local legend as the Black Demon, rises from the the depths of the ocean, and Paul must somehow save his family from this primeval shark.

The film is written by Carlos Cisco and Boise Esquerra, directed by Adrian Grünberg, and stars Josh Lucas, Fernanda Urrejola, Julio Cesar Cedillo, Jorge A. Jimenez, Héctor Jiménez, Raúl Méndez, Edgar Flores, Venus Ariel and Carlos Solórzano.

The Black Demon is scheduled for cinematic release in the US on the 28th April 2023.
