Deadline is exclusively reporting that Jaeden Martell, Rachel Zegler, Julian Dennison, Mason Gooding, Lachlan Watson, The Kid Laroi, Tim Heidecker, Eduardo Franco, Miles Robbins, Alicia Silverstone, Fred Hechinger and Daniel Zolghadri are set to star in the A24 disaster comedy Y2K.

Set on New Year’s Eve in 199, the film follows two High School nobodies who decide to crash the last big party before the new millennium. When the clock strikes midnight, the night gets more insane than they ever could have imagined.

The film is written by Evan Winter, with SNL alum Kyle Mooney set to direct. A24 will finance the film and handle the worldwide release. A24 will also produce alongside Evan Winter, Matt Dines, Ali Goodwin, Jonah Hill under his Strong Baby banner, and Christopher Storer under his American Light & Fixture banner. Weta Workshop will oversee the films design and practical effects.
