The Hollywood Reporter is reporting the Liv Tyler will be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as she has joined the cast in the upcoming Marvel Studios film Captain America: New World Order.

While plot details for the film are being kept under wraps, we do know that Dalan Musson and Malcolm Spellman, both of whom wrote on the Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, will be penning the script for the film, which will be directed by Julius Onah.

The report states that Liv Tyler will be reprising the role of Betty Ross, a cellular biologist and the daughter of Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross, which she first (and last) played in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, the second entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Liv Tyler joins a cast that includes Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Shira Haas, Tim Blake Nelson and Xosha Roquemore.
