Prime Video have released the official trailer for the upcoming series Dead Ringers.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

Dead Ringers follows Elliot and Beverly Mantle, twins who share everything: Drugs, lovers, and an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes—including pushing the boundaries on medical ethics—in an effort to challenge antiquated practices and bring women’s health care to the forefront.

The episodes are directed by Sean Durkin, Karyn Kusama, Karena Evans and Lauren Wolkstein. Durkin also serves as executive producer alongside Alice Birch, Rachel Weisz, Stacy O’Neil, Sue Naegle, Ali Krug, Erica Kay, Anne Carey, James G. Robinson, David Robinson and Barbara Wall.

The series, which is a retelling of David Cronenberg’s 1988 film, stars Rachel Weisz, Britne Oldford, Poppy Liu, Michael Chernus, Jennifer Ehle and Emily Meade.

Dead Ringers will premiere on Prime Video on the 21st April 2023.
