Media outlets are reporting that Lionsgate have announced that they have pencilled in the upcoming John Wick spinoff, Ballerina, for cinematic release on the 7th June 2024.

The film focuses on a young female assassin, trained in the traditions of the Ruska Roma, who seeks revenge against the people who killed her family.

The film, which is a Thunder Road Films and 87eleven production, is directed by Len Wiseman, the written by Shay Hatten, with Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Chad Stahelski serving as producer.

Ballerina will feature a cast that includes Ana de Armas, Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick and Keanu Reeves.
