Deadline is reporting that Lily Collins, Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Debicki, Bobby Cannavale, Michelle Monaghan, Moses Sumney, Halsey and Giancarlo Esposito will join Mia Goth in the A24 film MaXXXine.

MaXXXine is the third film in Ti West’s horror franchise, following on from X and its prequel film Pearl. Set after the events of X, the film focuses on survivor Maxine as she continues her journey towards fame, setting out to make it as an actress in 1980s Los Angeles.

Mia Goth pulled double duty portraying Maxine as well as Pearl in X, which was set in Texas in the 70s, then portrayed Pearl in the prequel film, set in 1918 and providing the origin story for the villainous character.

X and Pearl have made a combined total of over $24.4m at the worldwide box office, with the combined budget of both films being $2m.

The film is being produced by A24, Jacob Jaffke, Ti West, Mia Goth, Kevin Turen and Harrison Kreiss. MaXXXine is scheduled to commence production this month.
